How to Make a Smoothie Bowl

There is nothing better than an ice cold smoothie bowl on a hot summer day! This recipe is so easy to make and full of protein, fiber and antioxidants. Enjoy!

  • 1 cup milk of choice (almond, coconut, dairy, etc.)
  • 1 scoop vanilla protein powder
  • 1/2 cup spinach, frozen
  • 1/2 cup mixed berries, frozen
  • 1/2 banana, frozen in slices
  • 1/2 tsp cinnamon
  • Optional: 1 packet stevia or honey to sweeten
  • Top with superfoods like chia seeds, coconut flakes, cacao nibs, fresh seasonal fruit, etc

- The frozen spinach is key as it makes the frozen texture and adds potassium and magnesium

- When bananas start to brown, slice and freeze them to use in smoothies
